The more I make these video's the better I get at them. Watch some of my earlier video's you can see the differences. With your input I adjust, I learn & I get better. I want to somehow relay the excitement I get when I can bring these Legacy Computers back to life. Factory restored exactly how you would find them the day you purchased them. You have no idea how tempted I am to max each computer out to it's peak performance. For me it's more about the history. I want to keep them as original as possible. Original parts & software from the day of their release. If option's were available at time of release I will sometimes add them. I like to share the history of each computer & manufacturer as well. I started with Tandy computer's, but I have now crossed over to anything cool, rare or popular. It may not even be computer's. The amount of time & money I spend either collecting part's or rebuilding each restore is mind boggling. Just ask my wife. I do it because I love it.

It's always a good idea to stay with one product that controls stuff in your Google home. but sometimes you need something with greater distance. I like ORVIBO
A great & useful Surge Protector

Another great product from Tricklestar, a very versatile surge protector with ground fault indicator & more plugs than you will ever need! I set mine up to turn on or off multiple products at the same time.

A cheap & easy way to watch two live NFL games at the same time!
Переглядів 1417 місяців тому
Easiest way to watch two NFL games at the same time. Pay for just cable or Satellite TV streaming & buy two ROKU boxes. The cheapest ROKU box is the express box for just under $30. Set up both boxes & download your TV streamer to the ROKU boxes on the same free ROKU account. This works really well if one or both TV's are not smart TV's but have HDMI inputs. That's it!
Best Barns Millcreek 12X20 extended to 16X24 pt 5, & a surprise!

The barn is pretty much finished. Still have to do the roof. And finishing up some loose ends. But for all intense purposes, it's water tight. Well, it was before the tar paper blew off. But I'll fix that, and it's ready for temporary storage!

They got me too 😢😢😢
I wonder if anyone has that jingle as a standalone wav/mp3
Awesome, thanks just found 2 of these amps I thought I couldn't go wrong for 35 bucks for the pair.
Your part one was nice, helping a buddy rebuild his 1983 passport, it came to me completely disassembled so got a new carb started hooking up lines and found the gas tank was completely rusted out. Now I'm ordering one of them lol
Duct tape?? LOL bruh. 😊
So I have to restart my console everytime I want to use it? So fucking stupid
I have a snap on toolbox that belonged to my grandfather that's similar to yours and he bought it in the late 40's. On the left rear side of the box in the model and year with the serial number. It has three drawers and the cover is in two pieces and folds in the middle to stored away. Thanks for sharing 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍🪛🔧🪛🔧🔨🔨
I got scammed too luckily it was only 55$ not like some of these comments
I have the Magnavox version, but the speakers on mine are square and dual coned, one on the top and one on the bottom. Love it.
7:04 The 2nd small speakers are picking up the treble better, you can hear a tambourine which isn't audible with the big ones - you lose some of that mid range clarity with the twang of guitar when he flicks it over to the Minimus though. This is on of the best comparison videos I've seen on UA-cam.
I'm glad your carb was in such good shape after sitting for 2 years. You must have drained the fuel out before mothballing it. I wish I could say the same for my '82 Passport! The previous owner left ethanol gas in the carb and the petcock open for 5 years. To make a long story short, I said some kind words as I reluctantly threw it into the trash can. It was waaaaay beyond saving. I found some "high quality" (at least by Chinese standards) replacement carbs at the Dr ATV store on eBay. It's okay...but it's no Honda part. The bike runs fine, but I don't like that the replacement carb has the petcock on the other side. I'm glad you were able to keep genuine Honda quality on yours.
I have the exact same bike (in red) and have done this exact job. As I was watching the video, I was thinking to myself: "He sure has a lot of faith that everything in the carb is okay by putting the leg shield back on". At least you don't have an ill-fitting aftermarket between-your-knees rack to contend with every time you take the leg shield off like I do. One mistake I made was to leave an extra foot of hose coiled up under the tank to make tank removal easier. Despite purging, air got trapped in the coiled hose and the bike would run out of gas unless the tank was nearly full. I wound up cutting out the extra hose. I also stuffed a piece of heater hose around the two gas lines where they pass through the frame. The frame metal where the hole is punched for the gas lines was quite sharp on mine, and I was afraid it could slice through the gas hose(s). Going to "Part 2" now...I can't wait to see if your carb was as bad as mine after the previous owner let it sit with gas in it, and the petcock open, for 5 years.
The box was made was private label Houit tool box company, Chicago. They upgraded the hardware on later boxes. The top for this bottom was a 5 drawer cabinet. Ur chest is from the 70’s I think. Houit made their cabinets in red and turquoise. Later models had removable drawers. My cabinet has a bifold cover that slides in after unlocked. I have had this tool box for over 50 years. I was an agent for Houit in the 70’s.
An old snap on box with one of the most advanced high tech go cart stickers on it.
Look very close on the left side of the box for the name, model, year, serial #. My 1954 Snap-on KR-56 Tool Chest had that data. My 1993 was on the back.
I put chain link and cedar fence all over town and in the nearby mountains over a few years of working for my older brother's fence company. Wow. That is nice way to start it. You got a rock there. That is pretty nice for a little 2hp motor.
Hey I was wondering if you still have my phone #. I want to bounce something off you. if you do call me when you get a chance. If you don't email me at my slush act. Netpak@aol.com. I will give it to you.
Thank you for showing how to take one of those finger ratchets apart and clean and grease. I have a few I would say are much, much older. I have a couple of Walworth ones that are twice that size and from the 1920s or 30s. I never knew that Walworth even made them or that those ratchets even existed back then. My go to lubricate is my dad's Amalie bearing grease from the 1960s and in a metal can. I just used my dad's Amalie grease to re-grease a 1940s Proto WF-38 ratchet made at Wrights Field where Wright Patterson AFB is now. It works absolutely great. I also greased my dad's antique jacks one a model T jack and another a 1912 Hartford Suspention Co jack. He has 5 antique jacks I still have and still work great.
Thank you
I had one too, I loved it.
Just in case, you know the number of the carburetor nozzles
I just ordered a set of black BA745 off eBay for $40 that I'm waiting to be delivered. I really liked the size and look of them, and I'm very curious to hear how they sound.
This is great I wish I could even find and get one of these tool boxes
400 then and 40k now lol
"professional sound CLIPS"😂
Very nice but there's no way that record was made in 1896. 1896 would be referring to when that piece was written. The earlier recordings were recorded without any electronics and could never produce sound like you hear on that record. But not doubt, 78rpms do sound astonishing good when not worn, clean, and played on good equipment. I picked up a Shure M78S cartridge before Shure stopped making carts and was pleasantly surprised how well 78's play. Nice player, thanks for sharing.
4 to 8 ohms is the impedance that they represent to the amplifier you don't pop a speaker with ohms
So funny I had a guy in a white van at a gas station trying to sell me a home theater lmfao.
That is a cool powerbar. I have never seen a TrickleStar. I have a two story house. The internet comes in upstairs in my office. I ran an ethernet cable downstairs and got a second router. ASUS, of course, although they are now dead to me. Anyway, the second router is just a repeater. It covers the first floor where my wife has her stuff. It was funny when I first plugged it in and she turned on the TV with the ROKU stick, it loaded so fast she couldn't believe it.
I agree, ASUS use to be the powerhouse of computer electronics. They have destroyed themselves from within. Anytime you can replace WiFi for RJ45 that is a major improvement of stability & safety.
What a crap hole
Hell yeah dude. A new room is always exciting. Hoping one day soon I'll have a room dedicated to VR!
I built my first man cave at my old house in San Diego, after that there was no going back. This one is 3 times the size!
I can't wait for one of my sons to move out. Yeah, right... They are 23 and 25. Not happening for a while. Nice big room to set up as you like. We have that same Chess/Checkers would game box. I see Tandy monitors way back there....
Hey Buddy! Just wait, I'm going to have a special room just for my Tandy computers!
I just picked one up at the Goodwill for $40! works great!
Bought RCA (Radio Shack Minimus 7) speakers for 15 dollars. Just changed to better capacitors. Amazing sound quality! Some good stuff out there still!!
I agree looks like military
This sounds exactly like the one I have.
My neighbor got scammed but with a product called "Granger bessel home theater system which is the Granger Bessel GB-80 soundbar comes with a subwoofer also so she decided to give me coz it wasn't turning on but when I got it actually turned and worked fine but the sub keeps clipping out lol Still have it n it works fine still... and they claimed on the box the total power is 1200Watts buts its 94 😅
Excellent! Thank you!!!
i got one of this speaker great sound i put some wheels
Bose rip off. get a real Bose
My parents got me a 2000 Gateway 933mhz. computer with all options. Those speakers were a option when we got it. Honestly I was never too impressed with it. The speakers did sound really good and had good volume but the subwoofer sucked. It could have sounded good but when the volume was half way up or higher when the bass hit the way it was designed you heard the air passing thru it and you could hear the air more than the bass. I'm not sure which series I had but does yours not do that?
I’m pretty sure the smaller version of the Loomis storm from RadioShack was supposed to be more of like a five or 6 inch plasma lamp or is still larger version supposed to be an eight or 9 inch
I think the larger version was called eye of the storm
YOU CAN USE MCM IR REMOTE TO CONTROL THESE SPEAKERS WITH 2 RCA MALE TO ONE 3.5MM MALE CABLE.
How about using a 3-D printer to create the part that needs to be replaced?
Does anyone know where the ground screws in at
Do you do any maintenance loike oil ?i have 2 that arent moving as well thanks
They don't make cute musical arrangements like this for Christmas decor these days 😞 thanks for preserving this!!
Wow this is my first computer, I have many memories 😢
Yeah, don't buy any audio equipment that showcase the specs on the box itself. On high end audio that doesn't happen because on those legit brands you already know what's inside and what are their specs
OH my god, he takes to long to get to the point. He sucks
